Valentine’s Day, romantic movies, cupids and hearts…they are all apart of visions and scenes that come to mind when we think about the word LOVE. It is interested when we read in Genesis 3 the greatest love story ever starts to unfold!
14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
The entire Bible is the love story between a perfect and holy God and the relationship He wants with His creation. God wants this relationship so much that even in the first moments where the breakdown of the relationship happened a plan was already formed to restore the relationship through the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Christ. In verse 15 we learn that the enemy will be destroyed and that Christ will be bruised (referring to the crucifixion) to restore therelationship with his creation.
If you wonder if you are loved…you are.
Would someone die for you…they have.
Does your life have purpose and meaning…YES!
Christ is the answer to all of these questions and is inviting you to be a part of the greatest love story, drama packed adventure you could ever hope for!
